Joy is real

What quote am I vibing? “In a high meadow, wild bighorn sheep. Their lambs gambol. When you see that gamboling with your own eyes, you'll know something you didn't know before. What will you know? Hard to say, but something like this: whether life means anything or not, joy is real. Life lives, life is living." From The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson

Pounds of Trash Removed from the Wild in 2023: 50

All-Time Pounds of Trash Removed from the Wild: 3290

Before I return to work from my short medical leave to repair two small abdominal hernias, I wanted to make sure to take the time to post, and update on 2023 so far. It's been a slow start because of my medical issue, but 50 pounds of trash is a nice, round number, and there will be lots of 2023 left once I recover in a few weeks, and I'm back in fighting shape.

Even though it hasn't been the most pleasant few days of my life, post-surgery - I am always grateful for a time to read, rest, and let my mind be free of expectations and schedules. (And play Disney Dreamlight Valley - the most fun game ever. 😆)

I will have finished a book, eaten delicious food often lovingly provided by neighbors and family, and done a remarkable amount of healing. The human body is a remarkable thing, as delicate as it can sometimes be.

I hope that your year is off to a great start, and that you are feeling as ready as I am to create a little magic for someone or something or some-planet in the coming months. Heal well!
