Better chance of survival

What quote am I vibing? “I am pessimistic about the human race because it is too ingenious for its own good. Our approach to nature is to beat it into submission. We would stand a better chance of survival if we accommodated ourselves to this planet and viewed it appreciatively, instead of skeptically and dictatorially.” E.B. White

February can feel more productive than the other months of the year, as we put pressure on ourselves to achieve what we need to "in a short month." It definitely felt that way this year - travel, trash, reading, and work - very few moments unaccounted for.
February started off on a snowy, ice-covered mountain in the mountains of North Carolina - luckily we were able to make the best of it, and get out safely! Liana and Stacey were able to have their first snow experience, and after shoveling and pickaxing ice, we had a beautiful space to take in the mountain view and soak in a hot tub while the outside air was 10°.
After that I had some restorative space to explore a charming part of suburban Atlanta - Kennesaw, Acworth, and Marietta. I went to see a favorite social media comedian of mine (Landontalks), and had some days to relax and enjoy the sunny days and local spaces.
Finally able to get back to Stuart, FL to give some attention to our Adopt-a-Street - it had been over a year that Fred Astaire Stuart has been taking care of it, in addition to their own. 🙏
And now back to North Carolina where spring is popping up, and the cold is shaking off - more and more every day. I so look forward to the promise of spring, and new life growing everywhere.
