Without a word of complaint

What quote am I vibing? "Still, the moon stood out clearly against the sky. It hung up there faithfully, without a word of complaint concerning the city lights or the noise or the air pollution." - Haruki Murakami

This post includes all my May and June cleanups - the pace is picking up a bit compared to the first half of the year, but it seems I'll have to triple my efforts if I want to reach this year's goal. Possible? Yes. Gonna happen? LET'S SEE!

I have been doing so much gardening and fortifying of my butterfly garden. In June, the Atala butterfly arrived to lay eggs on my coontie plants - things are going well! Spending so much time in the garden probably takes away from time I want to spend outside for cleanups, but a great majority of the work is done - no big planting projects remain, just maintenance - 😄 - just maintenance! One can spend hours weeding and fussing in the garden without even realizing it. But it is all in service to the Earth, its pollinators, and the creatures who did nothing to help create the mess that we made!

Brian and I were able to visit my Dad and family in Pennsylvania in the beginning of June for his birthday - it was a wonderful time, and I was able to revisit the mountains of my youth, and re-center. Florida can be exhausting (and hot). Life can be exhausting. But the mountains are quiet and cool.
